Speech Language Pathology Assistant Certification expiring in 2027

226 of Washington’s 350 active speech language pathology assistant certification credentials — 64.6% of them — were expiring in 2027.

What has to happen before the year is out

Every one of these 226 credentials falls due during 2027, each on its holder’s own birthday rather than on a common date. Washington lets a lapsed credential be renewed late — up to a year for most nursing credentials, two for advanced practice — but late is not the same as current, and an employer checking on the day will read it as it stands.

The Department records continuing-education hours due for 225 of them (99.6%). Those hours have to be completed before the renewal, which is why a date late in the year is not as far away as it looks.

None of the 226 active credentials in this group carries a disciplinary flag in the Department’s published file.
